On Wednesday, Emma Roberts attended the NYLON Magazine May Young Hollywood Celebration at Bardot in Hollywood Hills. She wore a black dress from Elie Saab's fall/winter 2010 collection. Even though one is always is supposed to be one step ahead when it comes to fashion, I like it when I see stars who wear pieces from previous collections. It shows that they really must love that piece (or, at least, their stylist!).
The dress has a beautiful lace top, while the skirt consists of tulle. It reminds me of a princess dress with an edge to it. A rebel princess. I love that Emma has chosen to wear the dress without a jacket or a cardigan (as seen below), as the top half is so exquisite and deserves to be shown off. I also like the contrast between the delicate dress teamed with those chunky heels. A bold accessory would have been perfect together with this. Maybe a statement bracelet, or lots of bold rings together with some colourful nail polish?
