Rosie Huntington-Whitely for UK Elle July 2011

Okay, can I just say: Hello, beautiful cover! The subscribers copy of the July issue of UK Elle, featuring Rosie Huntington-Whitely and photographed by Terry Tsiolis, is absolutely stunning. I am a huge fan of Rosie's personal style - she has that perfect, laidback and boho-chic look nailed down. She also seems to make any kind of piece look ten times better when she wears it. However, it is not too difficult to make this silk jacket from The Row look good - it is an absolute dream in itself! Rosie + UK Elle + The Row + Tsiolis = a match made in heaven.

Karmen Pedaru for Vogue Paris June/July 2011

I am so loving what I have seen of the June/July issue of Vogue Paris so far. Yesterday, I posted the wonderful editorial featuring Isabeli Fontana, and today I just have to post the gorgeous photos of Karmen Pedaru shot by Cédric Buchet. I really like how Anastasia Barbieri has mixed together rich, blue pieces together with shiny, exclusive gold accessories - such a good combination, especially for summer and sunkissed skin.

Isabeli Fontana for Vogue Paris June/July 2011

I have to tell you about my major crush at the moment. I just can't stop thinking about it. I feel slightly obsessed, and I frequently keep going back for more. That is why I just have to post it here; the amazing, beautiful and edgy editorial with Isabeli Fontana, and shot by Mert & Marcus, for the June/July issue of Vogue Paris. Isabeli looks a lot like Linda Evangelista here, don't you think? When I first saw this editorial, my heart almost skipped a beat; it's a little while since I fell in love with an editorial the instant I saw it, but now: hello love at first sight!

Clémence Poésy in Chanel Resort 2012

I was secretly hoping to see some pieces from the recently shown Chanel Resort 2012 collection on the red carpet at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. It was no surprise that Clémence Poésy was the one appear in look 71 from the collection; a navy dress with white beading. I love it when Clémence wears Chanel - she looks so incredibly chic and gorgeous. And the flaming red lipstick is the perfect detail.

How To Wear Bright and Bold Colours

Angelica Blick is one of my favourite bloggers as she always comes up with so many great and inspiring outfits. Lately, she has incorporated a lot of bold and shocking bright colours into her everyday looks, something that makes me extremely happy as this is one of my very favourite trends this season. Here are a few looks that find very inspiring - I just love these happy colours!

Saturday Streetstyle

When it comes to this week's "Saturday Streetstyle" post, the main keyword is layering. I can never seem to find enough inspiration when it comes to layering, so when I find great photos of such outfits, I feel like I have struck gold. I am especially loving the splashes of orange in photo 1 and photo 5 - I really like how it pops against the beige and the grey. Another keyword is leather jackets - so many good examples here!

Which outfit is your favourite?

22

Today, I am turning 22 years old. Hooray! Among other things, I have decided to treat myself to lots and lots of cake. Hopefully, I'll look as stylish and elegant when eating it as Vanessa Traina does in this advert campaign for Maje Paris' Spring/Summer 2011 collection. That dress is the perfect spring birthday dress!

Erin Wasson covers Vogue Espana June 2011

Erin Wasson is one of those models who always manages to sell covers, whether she features a tough rock-chic look or a sophisticated, glamorous look. Vogue Espana have decided to show her in the latter look for the cover of their June issue (shot by Alexi Lubomirski), where she wears a skirt and body designed by Dolce & Gabbana, and Jimmy Choo sandals. The statement necklace and the smokey eyes adds that sexy femme fatale look to the cover. I love it...but then again, I love everything that Erin Wasson does.

Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012: Look 60

One can always trust Oscar de la Renta to design extremely beautiful dresses, and the Resort 2012 collection was no exception. Even though the collection is heavily influenced by Spain (especially Picasso and the Cubism) with matador jackets, long polka dot dresses and lots of flaming red, my attention was quickly grabbed by this green dream of a dress. The combination of the luscious colour, the light material, the thigh-high split and the eye-catching accessories makes me crave this gorgeous look.

Eniko Mihalik by Greg Kadel for Vogue Italia May 2011

My. Oh. My. How I love this photo! It is a truly breathtaking photograph of Eniko Mihalik, shot by Greg Kadel for the May issue of Vogue Italia. I adore the simplicity of the blue line of paint, and I find the contrast between the blue paint and the black eyeliner around her eyes very exciting. Also, I have been wanting to get such piercings as her for a long time, and now I feel that I am definitely ready to turn those thoughts into reality.

Anna Selezneva for Vogue Russia June 2011

Ivory white is a huge trend this season. Bold and bright colours is another. Mix them together, and you get this wonderful cover shoot by Mariano Vivanco for the June issue of Vogue Russia. Anna Selezneva wears clean, structured pieces in the colour white, styled together with shock-coloured accessories in everything from neon yellow to forest green to zesty orange. This is great inspiration when it comes to combining these two trends.

The 2011 Cannes Film Festival: Zoe Saldana

Yesterday, Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet at Cannes for the premiere of "The Tree of Life". She looked absolutely amazing in this red and white gown by Giorgio Armani. Even though it can give associations to a giant candy cane, I absolutely adore the shape, structure and material of the dress; everything from the bustier to the cascading skirt to the silk organza. I really admire Zoe Saldana for playing around with fashion in this way - it makes the red carpet so much more fun and interesting!

Alexander Wang Bags: Cream Dreams

I have fallen head over heels in love with these two creamy, white bags designed by Alexander Wang. I am considering getting one, as I have been searching for a nice, white bag for a while now. And what better time to get one now for the summer?! I really like the bronze corner details of the Jade Stingray, Leather and Suede wristlet bag (photo no. 1), but I am also weak for the studded bottom of the Lia Sling studded leather messenger bag (photo no.2). Ahh, which one to choose?

Anja Rubik by Mikael Jansson for Vogue Paris May 2011

The editorial "Pleine Lune", shot by Mikael Jansson for Vogue Paris' May issue, is a play between the feminine and the masculine in fashion. Anja Rubik is dressed in both glamorous, figure-hugging gowns and elegant, well-tailored suits. Even though all the photos are amazing (check them out at TFS or Fashion Gone Rouge), the feminine looks take my breath away. The dresses from the S/S 2011 collections by Emilio Pucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and Oscar de la Renta, and a couture gown from Roberto Cavalli, look absolutely ravishing on Anja, and the photos are so magical, so dynamic. They make me want to run off to Paris with an elegant, sequin gown, and dance around in the streets at night.

The 2011 Cannes Film Festival: Sarah Jessica Parker

Watching the stars at Cannes and what they all are wearing is a pure delight these days. I love a bit of French glitz and glamour. The highlight so far has without a doubt been Sarah Jessica Parker's fashion moments. First, for the 'I Don't Know How She Does It' party, she wore this gorgeous, summery dress from the Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2011 collection. I love how she has piled on lots of pearl necklaces - very Carrie Bradshaw. Also, I like the sparkle and elegance of her waistbelt against the sweet, bohemian dress.

Later in the evening, for the Wu Xia premiere, SJP changed from her D&G dress to a beautiful, floral-printed gown from Elie Saab's A/W 2011 collection. It wasn't one of my favourite dresses from the collection, but seeing it here on SJP made me go: 'Wow!' She looks absolutely stunning in it. This look proves her true style icon status.

Saturday Streetstyle

For the 'Saturday Streetstyle' post this week, I have chosen outfits that have a slight androgynous touch over them. They are all very simplistic, with more focus on the materials and the cut of the pieces rather than a lot of accessories. There are a lot nice combinations with basic colours, such as black, beige and grey, but my favourite is the loose, dreamy white dress in the last photo. I love how she has teamed it with those incredible shoes.
